Bells Bend community members have more than 350 acres in Land Trust for Tennessee easements. Conservation easements permanently limit how the land can be developed and subdivided in order to protect its conservation values. The Land Trust's role is to ensure that the agreement is upheld forever.

Open Space Preservation

Bells Bend Conservation Corridor's mission is to promote and protect the rural character of the Bells Bend. We are working to establish an outdoor recreational, agricultural, and residential conservation district that serves as a county, state and regional planning model for open space preservation.

With money raised we will provide funding to individual land owners seeking conservation easements from the Land Trust for Tennessee.  While developing and funding programs that promote farm education, environmental stewardship, and the importance of land preservation.
